For over two centuries these words have provided the foundation for Democracy in our nation and the world.

Today we understand them to mean that every human being has an intrinsic right to security, freedom and opportunity. These are the values that form the core of my civic life, just as my faith is at the core of my personal life.  

I am running for the Arizona State Senate because I believe that in their quest for ongoing political power, our leaders have lost sight of the very values which have made us a great state and a great nation.

I am running because I believe in security, freedom and opportunity for all.
